About Me

Picture
Hello, I am Catrina Parham. I am a native and current resident of Baltimore, MD. For 15 years, I have worked within the business management industry and customer service provision. My career goals include working within the fraud and risk analysis field of banking or human resources management. I am passionate about utilizing the resources and tools necessary to fight financial crime and protect multiple businesses.

My professional experiences include 15 years of customer service, 15 years of retail, 10 years of banking, 13 years of business management, and 5 years of risk management. For community service, I specialize in family events catering to the needs of low to moderate-income families, where I discuss the importance of financial literacy and credit management. In addition, I occasionally teach biblical lessons to children at my local church. At the beginning of my banking career, I received my professional experience from 1st Mariner and Wells Fargo Bank for the first 7 years of my banking career; I received my professional experience from 1st Mariner and Wells Fargo Bank for the first 7 years. I am in my third year at PNC Bank as a branch manager. At PNC Bank, I have spear-headed multiple festivals and events throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore region. These events were mainly family-oriented or incorporated diversity and inclusion.

As a leader in banking, my duties include risk management and fraud detection, coaching employees to enhance sales and service performance, conducting conversations regarding business banking, and partnering with banking affiliates to provide enhancements to specific financial needs. My favorite part of this position is being able to interact with clients and assist with questions/concerns about their initial financial needs.

Being recognized by the Chief Executive of Banking of PNC is one accomplishment I am most proud of in my professional career. My branch and team were recognized after this executive visited my branch while touring branches within the Maryland region. The executive was impressed with the branch's customer service, financial planning, and risk management performance.  The Chief Executive made a statement on a national call saying that my branch provided “the blueprint” of an exceptional customer experience. One accomplishment at my college that I am most proud of is acing my research paper on data analysis in my sports management course. The thesis paper discussed how an event manager at a sports venue utilizes data to determine if family-oriented events are profitable for the facility. The research paper was initially a group project; However, the project unexpectedly transformed into an individual project. With diligence and perseverance, I completed an articulate research paper attached with an extensive presentation.
